Centre Point is a complex of offices, flats and shops built between 1961-66. Designed by Richard Seifert and Partners for the developer Harry Hyams the leading design partner was George Marsh. The slender tower, with its delicately modelled surfaces, carried on the very visible pilotis, is one of the most distinctive high-rise compositions of the 1960s and a major London landmark.
